This precious kitty is timid, but affectionate on her own terms. She is gentle and cautious, never one to push you away once she gets to know you. Scrunchie loves back and belly rubs, but do stay away from her head! She does not like anything coming down towards her from up above; seated on the floor alongside her is best for her shy and cautious nature – she is not a lap cat, yet! Once she is comfortable, she readily comes out to play, nudging along your back, pushing bell balls into your line of sight, indicating she wants to chase. Bell balls are her absolute favorite, pulling them out of seek and find scratching pads and chasing them all over the room. You can also coax her out with a wand toy.
Scrunchie is food motivated but not treat motivated. She loves her crunchy food best, and one of her favorite pastimes is swatting her paws under her drinking fountain spout after eating. She seeks out secure shelters to rest - under pillows, blankets, beds, and chairs. Her favorite place to sleep is on a chair, under a blanket. 
This quiet girl does the cutest silent meows whenever her foster humans come near. This sweetheart will surely steal the hearts of those who are patient to earn her trust.

Star Crunch needs a home that lets her open up at her own pace. She prefers quiet homes without dogs but has the potential to do well with a friendly and calm cat companion with proper introduction. She can live with respectful kids who understand her boundaries.
