My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

About Logan:

We're currently getting to know our new feline friend & don't have much information about their personality currently. Please feel free to submit an inquiry with any specific questions you may have, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Adoption:

Our adoption fee helps to cover the costs of: monthly flea prevention, deworming treatment, FVRCP and rabies vaccines, and spay/neuter surgery for each cat or kitten. When adopting a pair, the fee is reduced to $120 together. For kittens too young for spay/neuter surgery, we offer a Foster to Adopt program for interested adopters.

Foster to Adopt:

To apply for our Foster to Adopt program, please submit a foster application for review/approval to take the kitten home with you. VTNR will arrange all required shots and sterilization surgery, along with any necessary medical care. Once the cat or kitten meets the required criteria, an adoption application can be finalized along with a reduced* adoption fee.

*Reduced adoption fees are available for our Foster to Adopt program participants, and when adopting multiple cats.

Thank you for your interest in adopting! VTNR does not have a public facility and all animals are fostered in homes. In those situations, please contact VTNR and we will work together to do what is best for each animal.

More about this rescue

Victoria TNR is private, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving the health and living conditions of homeless cats through trapping, neutering/spaying, and returning them to volunteer caretakers. This approach of Trap-Neuter-Return is the most effective and only humane method of containing and reducing a growing population of feral and free-roaming cats.

Catch and kill does not work, yet it continues. Animal control agencies have been catching and killing cats for decades in an unsuccessful attempt to reduce the number of feral and stray cats in a given area. Trap-Neuter-Return does work. There are no more kittens, the population stabilizes, and the returned cats’ lives are improved. Behaviors and stress associated with pregnancy and mating such as yowling, roaming and fighting, stop. Not only does Trap-Neuter-Return make good sense, it is also a responsible, humane method of care for outdoor cats and is less expensive than catch and kill approaches.

Victoria TNR is also the only organization in the Victoria area who rescues free-roaming unweaned kittens, older kittens and cats in distress.
