Louis, Louis..what a perfect boxer boy. At 3.5 years, he's mature enough to do all the right things, but young enough to be wiggly, playful and active. This boy is a gentleman who loves to snuggle. He is the epitome of a velcro dog. He loves his people and prefers to be where they are.
Louis can be nervous when meeting new people. Any potential adopters need to expect this on an initial meeting. Once he is comfortable with you, he'll warm up and become your best bud.
Louis loves companionship, but If you need to leave for a few hours, that's just fine. He'll great you with full body wiggles when you return. He has been left home alone for several hours with no problems.
Louis was surrendered because of scuffles with other dogs in the home. We do not know the specifics of which dog was causing this or full circumstances. In our care, Louis hasn't been fostered with other animals and has done well. On walks, he has not been reactive to other dogs. Cats are unknown.
Louis can be a picky eater, but we think it's his way of trying to get human food instead. Sorry, Louis, not happening.
Interested in earning this great boy's trust and love? You'll not regret it.
