Meet beautiful PATCH!

This adorable baby was rescued from the mountains of Puerto Rico. Her sweet personality and gentle spirit is coupled with her bravey and independence.

PATCH is approximately 3.5 months old and 12 pound (as of March 19, 2025). Although she looks so pretty in the greenery she would rather be snuggled up with you watching tv.

Can you give her the life of love she deserves? She will be asking you for bellyrubs in no time.

PATCH is young enough to socialize with cats, kids and animals. PATCH is smart and young enough to crate and leash-train. We know she gets along with dogs as she was rescued with two other beauties, MANGO & PAPAYA, who are also available for adoption.

We think PATCH is a loving Labrador mix breed. Her distinctive markings make her that much more adorable.

PLEASE READ: This dog is currently located in Puerto Rico. Once an adopter is approved, we transport to New York/New Jersey!

We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority.

Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it need for fulfillment.

In addition, we cannot guarantee breed of any dog or expected adult size of puppy. Please also note that any dog that is "house trained" will still need patience in a new home, new people and new schedule. Please be ready to house train ANY dog you adopt! Thank you for understanding.

1.
Submit Application

Applications will only be considered if all applicable fields are fully completed.

2.
Sign Adoption Contract

Adoption Contract must be fully initialed & signed. An unsigned contract will forfeit consideration of the application.

3.
Home Check

A virtual (FaceTime, Zoom, etc.) interview and home tour is required. All members residing in home must be present for the interview.

4.
Approve Application

Applicants will only be approved with a complete application, contract, home tour, reference checks, and background check.

5.
Pay Fee

Adoption donation fee is non-negotiable and must be paid prior to any dog being transported to New York.

Miracles for Satos Rescue

We are an all volunteer, no-kill, not-for-profit, 501c3 rescue group.

We rescue the satos (street dogs) of Puerto Rico from the streets, kill shelters and bad situations. Satos are unfortunately in abundance and these amazing sweet spirits need our help to find permanent loving homes!
We are the voice and for those who can not help themselves!

All donations are fully tax deductible!

Our rescuers and volunteers are unpaid so that any monies can be dedicated solely to the dogs! Medical, food, supplies, spay/neuter, and maintenance of our farm/sanctuary facility in Puerto Rico, transportation costs, and training are among the many expenses we have. We try to never say "no" to any dog in need!
