My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nova Johnson, she is a petite little with the best smile, gentlest heart and amazing spirit. This sweet girl is a momma dog who was shot and still cares for her babies. She was the best mom to her pups and now it is her turn to have a happy ever after. Nova has healed fully from the gunshot wound, she runs and plays just like it never happened. She adores other dogs and has a gentleness with them. Nova has been gentle yet playful with children and would love nothing more than to have a family to call her own. She loves to meet new people and will lean into you for extra snuggles. Your space becomes her space because she loves to be close to you. When she is happy (she’s always happy) she has the best smile, her whole body wiggles when she’s excited and she will cover you with pibble kisses. Seriously, what’s better than that.

Nova Johnson is hw ( heartworm) negative (heartworm treated), fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Northbound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting primarily independent rescuers in rural North Western Mississippi. With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
Our vision is to help our partners in Mississippi get their animals proper medical care and find them their forever home in the Northeast.
Why we do it... every animal deserves to be loved safe and cared for, we are their voice.
