My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:3/1/2022

Description:

Meet Walleye the sweetest girl looking for her happily ever after! Her friendly nature is contagious and she's always up for a cuddle session. Sweet as sugar, she's sure to melt your heart with her affectionate demeanor. Walleye is a girl who knows what she wants. Fiercely independent, often exploring her surroundings with a curious sparkle in her eyes. She's also incredibly smart, always finding new ways to keep herself entertained. But don't let her independent streak fool you, she loves to vocalize her thoughts and is quite the door darter, so a watchful eye is needed. Despite her quirks, Walleye's cuddly and lovable nature makes her the perfect companion. Her unique blend of independence and affection is a rare find. Adopt Walleye and let her sweet, curious spirit fill your home with joy and laughter.

Additional adoption info

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
