Meet Kitty Purry, a delightful 2 year old kitty who has quite the personality. She was found as a stray before arriving to Stray Haven where she made her sassy and independent side known. She is not a fan of being made to do anything she doesn't want to do, but she is quite content just lounging around being your best friend all day long. One thing you will notice is her love for toys and catnip. She will make her toy obsession well known and demand them if she sees you have toys in your hands. She is super sweet but don't fall for the belly rub trap, she is not a fan. She does well with other cats and seems to not mind children, although it may take her a moment to warm up. Stop by the shelter to meet this love bug and maybe she is the perfect addition for your home.

Additional adoption info

Stray Haven requires an in-person visit with our adoptable pets and completion of the adoption application. Our standard adoption donation is $225 for adult dogs, $275 for puppies, and $100 for cats, and $120 for kittens. All adoption packages and specials include up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.

Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA is a small private non-profit humane society dedicated to ensuring the protection of animals through education and service. Since 1967, Stray Haven has served Tioga County, NY and neighboring communities, providing shelter and care for homeless animals. Today we continue to offer many services with the generous support of the public, including pet adoptions, spay/neuter programs, dog obedience classes, pet therapy, cruelty investigations, humane education, children’s outreach programs and rewarding volunteer opportunities.
