My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tyrion is the sweetest, cutest 1 year old baby boy. He is a beautiful tabby with white paws and a white tummy which he loves to roll over and show you  for pets. Tyrion is a mix of gentle, curious and sweet. He has a patient and tolerant nature that makes him a wonderful companion for families. He adores attention and will happily snuggle next to you with  loud purrs!

Though generally not super talkative, he likes to meow if he’s gone to another room so you know where he is and make little chirps when he’s  happy. His curious side shines as he explores his surroundings or follows you around to see what you’re up to. He likes to help by sitting on  whatever you’re working on.

When he’s not investigating or helping, you’ll find him curled up in his furry nest or settling next to you. If you’re looking for a gentle and loving companion, Tyrion is the one!

He’s ready to settle into his forever home.

This cat can be adopted with a friend or as a single cat.

More about this rescue

Our rescue group was formed in December 2007, but all our Board Members have had extensive experience rescuing and working with abandoned animals. We often work with other rescue organizations to find appropriate and safe foster and adoptive homes for our pet clients. We regularly go to areas with abandoned animals and collect them. The animals are taken to a licensed veterinarian examined, treated and spayed or neutered. Every effort is made to work with the animal and our foster and adoptive families to find a suitable forever home.

For those animals who are truly wild and feral, we release the animal in a safe and secure location after it has recovered from its medical treatment. We also work with certified wildlife rehabilitators to rescue injured and orphaned wildlife. Our organization is focused on improving the welfare of the abandoned animals in need of help in Brooklyn. In furthering that goal, our resources are focused on the animals.

Aside from a few minimal overhead costs such as our website and phone services, our entire budget is spent on animal care such as medical and food costs.
