My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Microchipped, DOB: Jan 21, 2018

Shadow has spunk! She loves demanding pets whenever she isn't napping or playing with her best friend, Storm. She is a little overweight but that doesn't stop her from staying active. Her weight only gets her down when she's trying to hop on your bed - that takes a bit more effort than it should. She has a raspy little voice that she uses around food time but otherwise she isn't super chatty. She is a cutie through and through, and if you're lying on the couch cozied up under a blanket you'll never be without her company.

She loves butt scratches and will walk back and forth over you as you pet her. She LOVES laying on her back so you will often see her tummy up, especially when she's playing with Storm. She also loves getting cozy under a blanket on the couch during her daily naps.

Shadow is overweight and will need to keep up her diet to get to a healthy weight. Due to her weight she also sometimes needs her butt wiped since she can't always clean it herself! Pet wipes do the trick easy peasy. Similarly, since she struggles to clean herself she has a little bit of dandruff but it's been getting better already!

No one can resist Shadow's charm, she wins over everyone she meets. Her foster parents will be sad to see Shadow and Storm go, but are excited to help these sweet cats find their forever home.

Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair is $175 per cat, versus our standard fee of $225 per adult cat.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fee is $225 per adult cat, and $300 for kittens (under 8 months old).

This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $225.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $175 per cat vs. $225 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
