My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miles: a lively and energetic young cat whose antics know no bounds! He thrives when he is playing, running, and exploring — you will never cease to be entertained! While he is definitely rambunctious, Miles is sweet and affectionate, even if on his own terms.

His future household will be patient, accept his kitty quirks and interact with him often using lots of toys to direct his play to — something this young guy is still learning how to do. While Miles hasn’t met any children, he might do well with older children who understand cat behavior, learn his feline ways of communicating and respect his boundaries.

Miles will do best in a home with a feline companion who can match his go-getter energy and engage in roughhousing and mutual play with. He will need to be adopted into a home that already has a cat friend or he will need to be adopted with another from FFF.

Miles enjoys short petting sessions and once he is satisfied, he will leave for his next, big adventure. He might even do a quick check-in with you by booping his nose to your face before moving on. Who could resist that?

He is a skillful climber and will sometimes sneak onto tables or countertops to explore or confirm if it’s meal time yet. When it comes to food, Miles is a growing boy who loves to eat. He won’t hesitate to stick his head in his bowl as you’re filling it up! He is very talkative and will frequently meow to let you know when he’s hungry, wants to explore, or just needs attention.

Mile’s active nature means he does best when his instincts are put to work, whether it’s chasing after a feather toy or climbing up high. He loves looking out the window where his strong prey instincts can be witnessed. Stealthily track moving targets? Check! Pupils get real, real big? Check! He is clearly dreaming of becoming a celebrated hunter and enjoys being validated for what a good assassin he is. Good boy, Miles!

Miles is looking for his purrfect home where he can just be himself and settle down, and be revered for the excellent hunter he is. Ahh, the happy life. Are you his furrever family? Apply to adopt Miles today and schedule a meet and greet with this amazing kitty as soon as you can!

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
