My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Cinco! Yep, you guessed it—I was named after the legendary San Antonio Spurs' fifth NBA championship. 🏀

I'm a bundle of sweetness wrapped in silky, soft fur that you'll love to stroke as much as I love being pampered. If I get a bit overstimulated, I might give you a gentle love nip to say, "Time out!" But don't worry, I'll be back for more in no time.

I've got a knack for hunting (or so my foster mom proudly claims). I chase that Da Bird feather with lightning speed—sometimes it's scary good. I get along well with other cats, but just like any self-respecting feline, I need a little warm-up time before we're best buds.

If you're seeking a furry friend who's the perfect mix of playful and cuddly, your search ends here. I've got five times the love to share with my new family. Could that be you?

Champion Cinco

Rescue: After I was born I was abandoned by my mother. It was cold out and raining a lot. Thankfully, someone found me and put me in a shoe box and left me at the gas station. When I made it to my first foster family, I had to be bottled fed for many weeks. Once I was strong enough I was originally adopted by a family for their daughter. I stayed with them for 3 years until the girl just decided she didn't want me anymore. It broke my heart. After spending time in foster, I was adopted and learned to trust and love again. My family split up so now I’m looking for a new home.

More about this rescue

Like the animals that come our way, Animal Rescue Connections (ARC) may be small but we make a big difference in people’s and animals’ lives. Primarily serving Bulverde, Comal County, and Northern San Antonio, ARC is an all-foster based organization with volunteers who are passionate about our adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and helpline programs.

Located in Bulverde TX, we are an all-foster organization, caring for our rescued animals in our own homes. Because we are not a shelter, we cannot take in all the animals we get called about, but we can find the "connections" you need to help you with your rescued, lost or found animal.
