Peggy Sue is a medium sized shepherd mix who is dang near perfect. We cannot sing this girl’s praises enough. She is the perfect size at 45 lbs to fit in your lap still but big enough to keep up with any adventure you want to take her on. Peggy knows some commands and tricks, clearly has been a house dog before and keeps her kennel run at the shelter clean, and minds her manners. She loves to flop onto her back right next to you for belly rubs. Peggy Sue is excellent with other dogs, didn’t seem too interested in the cats she met, and loves people of all ages. She is an excellent little vacuum cleaner for sucking up crumbs from the kiddos. Peggy Sue is sitting in a shelter right now and waiting for someone to choose her. We cannot take her into rescue without a committed foster home or foster to adopt.
Requirements: No special requirements
Adoption Fee: $500 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 6 months of age, deworming, microchip and current preventatives
