Meet Oscar!

This boy is so great! He is friendly and a good boy. He was found as a stray and we don't think he has ever had much training or attention so he doesn't know much. However, he has a nice temperament and is eager to learn. He is medium in size at around 35 lbs. His pictures make him look bigger than he is. Oscar is around 8 months old.

We would love to find someone who is willing to teach him and train with him. He is worth it! He loves to be near you but it not needy, he loves walks but is not full of crazy energy. All in all he is a little 'green' but a blank slate for someone looking for a fun dog to train.

Oscar is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450.

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

1.
Submit Application

Please submit an application via our website for the dog you are interested in.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once we receive your application we will arrange a meet and greet for you with the dog in their foster home.

3.
Take the Pet Home

After the meet and greet, if all goes well, we offer a two week trial adoption to ensure the dog is indeed a good match for you.

Additional adoption info

All applicants have a two-week trial adoption period. If the trial adoption is successful, a final adoption contract is signed.

Saving Great Animals is a match-making rescue. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we work with you to help you find your best match. All of our dogs are vaccinated, chipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. All applicants have the opportunity to do a two-week trial adoption to ensure the dog is the right match for you. We are passionate about our work and transparent with you so that you find the dog that will be the love of your life.
