Little Blossom is in the Portland, OR area now and is a husky mix and oh so soft! She has a gentle heart, is shy, sweet and very loving. She is going to make someone VERY happy considering her kind and gentle spirit. She also LOVES other dogs and we think would love to be with a family, even one with small children.
Blossom has a blue eye and a brown eye and is a little larger than a fox and she is a little fox like in her appearance too!
She needs to go to a home with at least one other dog who would like a friend.
Please contact Colleen@startrescue if you have any questions or you may apply (and meet her) through the adoption application found here:

More about this rescue
S.T.A.R.T. (A 501c3 non-profit) was formed in May 2011 by Steve Spiro, Suzanna Urszuly, Rene Ruston and Adam Tarshsis.
We began raising money and transporting dogs from high kill shelters here in California and sending them via our van or plane to Oregon, Washington (WA) and Canada where they go to reputable no kill shelters or foster homes.
To date we have transported over 5,800 doomed death row dogs who are placed into loving homes. Our reputation is growing as is our demand from out of state groups in the north west who know how bad the animal situation in LA is and want to get involved and receive our dogs/cats.
We have also started a second division of our group which is SPAY - NEUTER: this is where we believe the real animal control problem lies. Over 4,000,000 unwanted animals are killed each year in the US because of breeding and unfixed pets. We are planning to raise money to fund low income families to fix their dogs and have had several meeting with city and county shelters to help fund a spay/neuter program. We have already set up our first program where we fund 60 dogs to be spay/neutered monthly in Riverside County.
