Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Calm, Affectionate, Gentle
Meet Toffee!
This polite gentleman doesn't have a mean bone in his body! Toffee is a kind and gentle sweetheart who isn't flustered at all by his foster siblings' occasional spats or hisses and who will melt into purrs when you scratch his head. He just wants some love and to sleep next to you and he'll be so happy!
Toffee is a chatty boy - his foster says he's an alto - and he likes to greet his people when they come into the room or when he wants some pets. He's not fully velcro cat but he does like to spend time with his family and will ask for pets pretty regularly. He's very polite and sweet with other cats (even when they are a little rude to him) and we can only imagine he would be just as calm and relaxed with most kids, although he hasn't met any yet.
Toffee would do great in any home where he can relax and get some love, whether that's with a family with kids or other pets, seniors, or someone's first experience with a pet! If you're looking for a calm presence in this crazy world, come and meet Toffee. We predict you'll fall in love with his soulful eyes in a heartbeat!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
For further information or to meet Toffee, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
