My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Luna, a senior lady with a heart full of sweetness. She may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you, her gentle nature shines through. Luna enjoys the simple things in life - a comfy bed, a delicious meal, and the company of those she trusts. Despite her age, Luna still has a zest for life and loves to explore her surroundings, sniffing out new scents and investigating every nook and cranny. Luna`s gentle demeanor and loving personality make her the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm and loyal friend. Her age has only made her more patient and understanding, traits that are invaluable in a pet. Adopt Luna and let her fill your life with warmth and affection.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
