Scout is a 2-year-old male. We adopted him from a shelter. He's a big boy (about 15 pounds) and has beautiful coloring.
Scout doesn't get along well with our other male cat of the same age. But he gets along well with our neighbor's much older male cat.
Scout really loves spending time outdoors and must be able to continue doing so. He should not at this point be an indoor-only cat.
Scout has a shy nature, and he'll most likely hide initially. It will take time for him to be comfortable around you and for you to get to know him. He likes to be nearby but isn't a lap cat. He loves being brushed and loves his catnip-filled carrot toy.
We want Scout to have a new home where he's relaxed and secure and loved and has access to being outdoors.
