My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tippy is a 6-year-old Manchester Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a need for a patient, understanding home. She was sadly surrendered when a family member developed allergies, and now she’s looking for her second chance.
This sweet girl is very shy and nervous at first, but once he warms up, she’s incredibly friendly. Tippy is also quite the athlete—she’s a skilled jumper and can clear a 6-foot fence with ease, so a secure home is a must! Despite her jumping abilities, she's easy to walk on a leash and enjoys going on strolls.
Tippy would do best in a home that can give her the time and reassurance her needs to feel safe and loved. Could you be the one to help this gentle soul blossom? Please apply for her https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-50

More about this shelter

The Gloucester County Animal Shelter functions as an impoundment/adoption facility which temporarily houses lost, stray, unwanted or abandoned pets for the 24 municipalities in Gloucester County, until such time as they are reclaimed by their owner or adopted by a new family. The Shelter also provides a 24-hour emergency service for calls regarding animals that are sick, injured or posing an immediate threat to the public.

We have a very dedicated staff and volunteer core who work very hard to see that these homeless pets are given a second chance and placed in a proper homes. All animals are spayed/neutered at the time of their adoption and up to date on their age appropriate vaccinations, Heartworm tested (for dogs) or feline combination tested (for cats) and microchipped.
