Meet Hermes, a very handsome boy who is 4 years old and weighs about 65 lbs. He is crate trained and housebroke. He knows how to use a doggy door too. We think he may be part Basenji, anyway, he is very well behaved and gets along with other big dogs.
We are not sure how he would do with younger children so we are suggesting he be placed in a home with older children or adults. He has had some obedience training and rides quietly in the car. He also walks nicely on a leash.
He would do better with another dog in the home because he has a little separation anxiety but with another dog in the home, he is good.
If you are interested, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Hermes’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
