Hi Everyone... my name is Hayden. I'm two years old and still very much a puppy... I weigh almost 8 lbs and have had all my shots and been neutered.

A few months ago I was attacked by a large dog and my eye was ulcerated and my jaw was broken... I was then left in a shelter. Fortunately for me Maltese Rescue California rescued me and my foster Mom took me to the vet and they were able to save my eye... and the veterinary oral surgeon was able to fix my mouth.

I am playful, loving and want nothing more than to be held and have my belly rubbed...I give great puppy kisses and I like playing in the yard chasing my foster mates... My very favorite toy is Gumby and he comes with me everywhere. .. I am very verbal and will always let you know when the delivery person has brought your order.

Maltese Rescue California is a 501 (c) (3)nonprofit organization run purely on donations and adoption fees. We are dedicated to rescuing Maltese and Maltese mix dogs from California shelters and owner surrenders. Maltese Rescue CA is run by compassionate professionals who volunteer their time and resources to save and care for homeless Maltese. Along with dedicated veterinarians, we are able to spay/neuter and provide proper medical care to all of our dogs. Our goal and commitment is to secure loving forever homes, thus giving our dogs a second chance.
