Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charley is a sweet, 1-year-old Lab / Beagle mix who weighs 37 lbs of pure love and joy. This good boy's journey started with a rough beginning — he was found abandoned at a dog park in Houston, TX. While we like to hope that the family that had to let him go wanted the best for him..... he unfortunately ended up in the city's high-kill shelter. When we learned about Charley here at Farfel's Farm & Rescue, we knew we had to bring him to Colorado. Just take a look at his gorgeous eyes and playful personality that shine through his photos—he’s perfect for a Colorado family!
Charley is so friendly and loves every person he has met. He also does wonderfully with other dogs and plays with and snuggles with his small doggy foster brother.
Charley’s friendly and affectionate nature makes him an absolute delight. He loves his daily walks, playing with other dogs at the park, and after all that excitement, curling up for cuddles. He’s especially gentle with smaller dogs, happily letting them win in toy battles and putting up with a little roughhousing. Whether it's making new furry friends or enjoying some well-deserved downtime, Charley is always up for it. He’d thrive in a home with a backyard where he can run freely and with a family who enjoys long walks, playtime, and snuggles in equal measure.
Charley is up-to-date on vaccines, has been fully vetted, and is neutered.
Charley is also eager to begin training and learning in his new home. At Farfel's Farm & Rescue, we require our adopters to sign up for a training package with ethical, force-free/Positive reinforcement trainers in the area. This ensures Charley gets the help he needs to learn how to communicate with his new family—and vice versa. It’s also part of our commitment to keeping dogs in their forever homes and out of shelters.
If you're looking for a devoted companion who will join you on adventures, play with other pups, and melt into your arms after a long day, Charley is your guy. He’s a big-hearted, affectionate dog who just wants to be loved—and he will return that love tenfold.
If you're truly interested in adopting Charley, please fill out our application at www.farfels.com/adopt. The application on Petfinder & Adoptapet often doesn’t make it back to us, so applying directly through our website is the best way to get in touch with us about Charley or any of our other wonderful pets in need.
