***Bob is in a foster home, so he is not at the kennel right now. If you are interested in him, please fill out an application at K9stray.com and we will be in touch. Thank you.***
I know, I am a cutie! My name is Bob, I am about 7 months old and weigh 30 pounds right now.
I may seem a bit timid and scared at first as the world is quite scary to me, but I am a very hopeful little pup. I am open to trusting humans, the nice people at the rescue tell me I'm doing so well and learning to trust, which is great because I really want to be close to you. No one has ever really showed me much love before, it is all so new to me, but I sure am liking all these slow pets and yummy treats. But I especially love the soft, sweet, encouraging voices all around me here, it makes my heart happy.
I am very food motivated, so that is an excellent way to build trust with me. I am still a baby and am just learning about the world around me, I will need a patient and caring owner who is willing to work with me and help me become the best version of myself.
My adopter needs to be a leader and should have time for a project upfront, which I will be repay with a lifetime of unconditional love. I do need a lot of positive socialization, patience and trust. If you are able to provide me with a safe space where I can thrive and build my confidence, I will surely be your very best friend. Are you the loving and gentle owner that I've been searching for?
I really need another friendly dog in my new home to play with, follow around and teach me how to be a silly, playful pup. I think it would really help with building my confidence too.
Because of my timid nature, I would do best in a quieter home where any children are at least 13 years old. so that I can take the time to adjust and feel confident in my surroundings. I will need a home with a fenced in yard to keep me safe as I am a flight risk with being so scared right now. If you are patient and have a big heart, I would love for you to come and meet me!
If you are interested in Bob and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
