Peanut is a 1-year-old Pitbull mix who is as sweet as can be and full of energy! He’s looking for a loving family who can match his playful spirit and help him grow into the well-mannered companion he’s destined to be. Peanut absolutely loves to run and play, especially when it comes to zoomies in the yard! He’s got a ton of energy to burn, so an active home where he can get plenty of exercise will be his dream come true. He enjoys playing and wrestling with other dogs, but he’s not the best match for a household with cats, as he prefers to keep things dog-centered. Though Peanut didn`t have the chance to learn many tricks or manners before coming to Macomb County Animal Control, this smart and eager pup is ready to learn! He’s currently mastering the `sit` command and will thrive in a home that’s willing to teach him new tricks, reinforce positive behaviors, and give him the training he needs to be his very best. Peanut loves his plush toys and will happily fetch them for hours, showing off his playful side and his love for interactive play. He’ll be your loyal buddy and is sure to bring lots of joy and love to your home. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate dog with a lot of potential, Peanut just might be the perfect match for you. He’s waiting for a family who will give him the attention, exercise, and training he deserves, and in return, he’ll fill your life with love and happiness.
If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.
My adoption fee is $50
