My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bandit! This 7-month-old 60lb shepherd/heeler mix is full of personality and ready to find his forever home. Still growing and probably destined to be a 85 pound boy, he is true to his name.  He promises to steal your heart with his playful energy and friendly nature! Bandit is Mr. Social—he thrives with canine companions and would do best in a home with another playful dog his size. Despite being abandoned, Bandit has proven to be a fast learner and is eager to please. He’ll need a home with a securely fenced yard where he can run and play safely. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, smart pup to join your family, Bandit is your guy!

Just give this boy a chance to be your buddy in life and he won’t fail meeting those requirements.  Bandit is definitely a “best friend” candidate for anyone who loves the company of a big dog.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
