Meet our very friendly and affectionate Pittie boy named Romeo! He is about 7 years old, and he came to our shelter after he was found roaming in town. Romeo is just the sweetest guy who cries for our attention in the kennel. He is not a jumpy or over energetic dog who just wants to be by your side. He is starting to show some interest in toys, but he is more motivated by food and affection give by people. Romeo is a tall boy who could stand to lose a few pounds, but is fine walking on a slip lead in and out of the kennel. He is a lovebug who just wants a family to give him a safe and loving home! Romeo is good with other dogs and he has tested well with cats. He can go to a home with children 8 years old and older.

Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.
An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
