Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***Adoption Pending***
Hello, my name is Brad. I’ve been told I am an adorable speckled handsome puppy! I am about 7 months old and weigh 30 pounds right now.
I am quite shy and scared right now, the world is a little scary for me. Even though I am a timid pup, I have a really sweet, docile, and connecting nature that will surely win over your heart. I am very engaged with those who are patient with me and continue to surprise those around me with my capabilities.
I am very food motivated, so that is an excellent way to build trust with me. I am still a baby and am just learning about the world around me, so with the right owner by my side, I know I will be able to overcome my shyness and come out of my shell. The nice volunteers at the rescue say when my playful side comes out, it will be a beautiful sight to see!
My adopter should have time for a project upfront, which I will be repay with a lifetime of unconditional love. I do need a lot of positive socialization, patience and trust. If you are able to provide me with a safe space where I can thrive and build my confidence, I will surely be your very best friend.
I hope there is another friendly dog in my new home to play with and follow around. I think it would really help with building my confidence.
Because of my timid nature, I would do best in a quieter home where any children are at least 13 years old, so that I can take the time to adjust and feel confident in my surroundings. I will also need a home with a fenced in yard to keep me safe as I am a flight risk right now with being scared and unsure.
If you are interested in Brad and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
