My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bunny / Spayed Female / 3 Years / Northern Mix / 90lbs / Dogs:No / Cats: Dog Savvy Cats / Kids: Yes / Location: Campbellcroft

🐾 Re-introducing Bunny! 🐾

Bunny is a 3-year-old, 90lb sweetheart who's been through quite a journey! She was rescued from Attawapiskat after her owner thought she might have been hit by a car. Thankfully, she wasn’t hit but had likely been attacked by other dogs, leaving her with multiple injuries. After some recovery, she's back to her floofy, loving self!

This big girl is likely a mix of Malamute and St. Bernard, and she has a heart full of love to give! 🐕💖 She’s a total cuddle bug, who loves belly rubs, snuggles, and squeaky toys. Bunny’s also a fan of meat snacks, squirrels, and outdoor adventures. She has a unique way of playing with balls—she prefers throwing them into the air or catching them right from your hands rather than fetching!

Bunny is a social girl who loves car rides and places that welcome pups (especially spots with tasty dog treats—she's all about that Pup Cup from Dairy Queen!). While she’s great with other dogs outside the home, she prefers to have her humans all to herself. Due to her protective nature over her human’s affection, she’d do best in a dog-free home.

She’s been good with cats but might get a little jealous, too—she’s a quirky, adorable love bug! 🐾 Bunny would thrive in a home where someone is around often since she’s such a people-dog. She's playful, gentle, and a big teddy bear who loves being close to her humans.

Bunny is currently looking for a new foster, foster-to-adopt, or forever home. If you think you’re the right fit, fill out an application today, and we’ll be in touch!

Bunny has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccines. She is being fostered currently in Campbellcroft but we can arrange transport anywhere needed for a Foster or Foster to Adopt.
