Meet S’moreo!

At 7 years young, S’moreo is a wonderful mix of sweetness and affection—just like his name suggests! This dapper tuxedo boy gets along wonderfully with both cats and dogs, making him an easy addition to any loving home. His favorite pastimes? Snuggling up for cozy cuddle sessions, gazing out the window to watch the world go by, and melting hearts with his affectionate personality

S’moreo came to the rescue after his beloved owner passed away, and now he’s looking for a new family to love. He does require a special diet, but that doesn’t stop him from being the sweetest companion. With his easygoing nature, he’d make a great choice for a first-time cat owner. If you’re looking for a best friend who’s as sweet as an oreo with a little extra fluff, S’moreo is your guy!
IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

Once your application is approved you will be contacted by the rescue and discuss the dog you are interested in and transportation.

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

Puppies under 6 months: $350
Dogs over 6 months: $300
(Special adoption fee applies to some dogs and puppies)

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
