My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Limone!
This sweet 6-year-old gentleman was owner surrendered and is now looking for his forever home. While he’s a bit unsure of his new environment, Limone is used to living in a home and is ready to settle into a loving family. Though he may be considered a bit older, don`t let that fool you—Limone has plenty of love and affection to share with the right person.

Limone may take a little time to adjust and feel comfortable, but with a patient and understanding family, he will open up and show his true, loving side. He enjoys his quiet moments and would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where he can feel safe and secure. If you`re looking for a sweet, mature companion who will fill your home with love, Limone could be the perfect fit for you!

Our adopters tell us that our professional staff are warm, friendly, informative and patient as they assist adopters in finding a furever match. Our mission is to help you find a pet that meets your expectations and lifestyle. You’re invited to visit with a prospective pet in one of our "Meet N' Greet" rooms. We also offer "Meet N' Greets" for adopters wishing to introduce a current dog to a potential new playmate.

For more information regarding our adoption procedure, please contact our Adoption Department at adoption@yakimahumane.org.

Adoption Fees & Process
See current fees at www.yakimahumane.org
The adoption fees help offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals that need our help. We do our best to keep adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. Adoption fees help provide medical care, food and shelter to the animals in our care.
