My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable little kitten was originally trapped and brought into a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program. However, we noticed he had a gnarly wound on his right front arm that required amputation. That's how he got his government name 36 inches (cause he has 3 feet) but affectionately goes by Pogo in the home. Pogo was given the opportunity to become an indoor cat rather than being released again and entered a foster home. Pogo has likely never felt human touch prior to his trapping so he is still very scared and wary of touch however, his is beginning to learn chin scratches are nice and will shut his eyes and extend his neck when the scratches get going. He's even given a few elevator butts with some booty scratches. Pogo is looking to enter a forever home that appreciates his differences and will give him time to come into his personality. Could that be you?

Pogo is about 7 months old (as of 3/25)and is:
-Neutered with right forelimb amputation
-Microchipped
-Vaccinated (up to date for their age)
-Dewormed
-Come with a lifetime supply of love

More about this rescue

Our mission is to care for and protect unwanted, lost and/or abused animals, to promote animal welfare within the community, and to promote the human-animal bond. We strive to create the maximum positive effect that we can.

We are SOUL - Shelter for Outcasts, Unusuals, and the Lost An Animal Rescue. 🐾

We focus on taking in animals that don’t do well in shelter environments, such as neonates (bottle baby kittens), complex medical cases, and animals with behavioral needs. We pair these animals with veterinary students who are able to give them special and individualized attention in foster homes to offer the animals a second chance to thrive.
