Hello, my name is Twiggy.
I am a ~1.5 year old chihuahua mix! I am a spunky girl who loves to play with plushy toys, follow you around the house, sit in your lap, and be your best friend! I know a bunch of tricks including, sit, down, wait, crawl, shake (with both paws depending on which hand you ask with), and am learning how to spin and do the spanish walk. My foster mom says I am a super smart young lady and learned how to sit in less than 5 minutes. I can be shy and timid when meeting other dogs, but warm up within a few days. I have 9 other dog friends that my mom lets me play with and I love them all and look forward to the evening visits! I am also friends with the 8 barn cats, especially Purrito - we play tag back and forth! Mom cannot wait to get our games on video! I do not chase horses, in fact I ignore them and go about my job of "barn dog."
My ideal home has a yard where I can zoom around and play! I love doggie doors and have zoomies once or twice a day. Otherwise, I sleep by my foster mom's desk while she works. I prefer to have a canine or feline best friend, but would also be happy as an only dog.
I am potty and kennel trained and never whine in my kennel. I walk on a leash and stay near you off leash. I am great with other dogs, cats, horses, and dog friendly children although I may be shy and timid at first.
My adoption fee is $250 locally in Houston, TX or I can be transported out of state for $550 (includes travel fee and health certificate).
