Shrek is a quiet, sensitive cat who`s still learning that people can be kind. He’s very scared right now and doesn’t like being approached or touched—but he’s making slow, brave steps every day. While he’s not ready for cuddles or pets just yet, he’s perfectly okay with sharing space and being near someone who respects his boundaries.

Shrek needs a patient, understanding adopter who can offer him a safe, calm environment where he can grow at his own pace. With time, love, and a little bit of space, we believe he has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion—on his own terms.

If you have a big heart for shy cats and find beauty in quiet connections, Shrek may be the one for you. He may not be a lap cat, but he’s a soul worth rooting for.
