Mabel is a very sweet goofball of a pup. She is 1 year old, enjoys playing fetch, and relaxing outside. She is a little aloof around people but loves to be in the same space as her humans. She has lots of energy and learns very fast. We were able to crate train and house train within a month. She's very food motivated and learns commands well.
Mabel was adopted from a local rescue when she was around 6 months old. She seemed to acclimate to our home well over the first few months but over time, she became more aggressive towards our older dog. She has turned into a bit of a bully with him and tries to prevent him from getting attention. She also plays too rough with our 5-yr-old son to the point we have to keep them separated.
Through our efforts to correct her behavior issues we've come to realize Mabel has a lot of anxiety. The things causing her stress are things in our environment we cannot change. We believe Mabel would do best in a home with no small children or small dogs.
