Meet Mr. Bluebell, a shy but deserving gentleman looking for a patient and understanding home. Despite coming from a house full of cats, he missed out on early socialization and finds new people and places a bit overwhelming. He'll need a slow, quiet home with gentle, low-pressure interactions to help him feel safe. Mr. Bluebell is required to go home with another cat and would do best without dogs-unless they're calm and cat-savvy. Children should be over the age of 8 and respectful of his space. With time, tasty treats, and enriching toys, he has the potential to bloom into a wonderful companion.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
