Meet Saul, our soulful 6-month-old pup eager to find his forever home! This handsome boy arrived as a stray, and while his past remains a mystery, it`s clear he carries a heart overflowing with love.

Saul is a big softie who loves nothing more than to greet you with a gentle sit, happily waiting for all the pets and love you can give. He takes treats with the utmost care, making sure to show you just how gentle he is. Plus, he keeps his kennel clean, which shows he`s well on his way to being a perfect housemate!

One of Saul`s most charming features is his unique tuft of fur beside his right eye, giving him a distinctive look and making that eye drop just a little. From what we`ve observed, this little quirk hasn`t affected his vision or playful spirit. It showcases the beauty of being unique, just like Saul himself!

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee includes the initial rabies vaccination, deworming, the initial distemper combo vaccination (for dogs, this vaccination includes parvo) and having the pet spayed/neutered and a microchip. The fee for dogs is $80 and for cats is $65. There are times that we are running specials for adoptions, if you have any questions feel free to call. When adopting you will have to provide a government issued ID and be able to sign an adoption agreement.

Our shelter is open for visitors M-F 12-5 and Sat 11-2.

Rabies vaccinations are also available during regular business hours for only $10.

Our rabies vaccination clinic is on the second Tuesday of the month from 6-7 pm and is $5 cash only.

Iredell County Animal Services provides temporary shelter for stray and unwanted animals. These animals may become available for adoption if they meet our wellness and behavior requirements. Iredell County Animal Services works with approved rescue groups to place as many pets as possible into loving homes. We have lots of pets available for adoption.
