Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tasha is a fun loving girl who doesn’t let a sad start to life get her down! She is around a year old and a mixed breed, all we know is that she is 100% adorable.

This girl just loves every single person that she meets, she doesn’t know what the word “stranger” means. Now she is basically a big puppy, so she will need someone willing to give her some patience as they work on some basic obedience. She is under socialized, so she tends to get over excited quite easily. Some patience and basic training and we know she will be an amazing dog for somebody!

Dog adoptions include a written application and an on site interview. All family members, including other resident dogs, must meet the new dog.

The adoption process for cats and kittens includes:
A detailed application.
An interview with the potential adopter(s).
And a home visit, in some circumstances.

To ensure the best possible match for our cats and kittens, all applications are reviewed by our adoption committee and determination can take up to 48 hours.

We are an all-volunteer, no-kill, non-profit animal shelter formed in 1986 to find homes for the dogs, cats lost within our city limits. We are a California non-profit 501-C3 corporation # 33-0192138 so all donations are tax-deductible.

We are always in need of volunteers and have many areas in which you can share your talents. Please attend one of our volunteer classes to get started.
