My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This rare breed of puppy (Irish Setter/Poodle) has just left the only home he has known since being a 3 month old puppy because of severely allergies with the 2 year old child.  Critter Cavalry Rescue received a call asking for help to find this puppy named Mars a home so they would not have to send him to the shelter.  This handsome red silky soft Mini Irish Setter/Poodle doesn’t deserve to be in a shelter.  Quickly CCR made a place for him to go quickly and we are dedicated to finding a wonderful home for him.  He is one year old this coming April 4th and he is a lover of children.  Sadly he just lost 3 loves of his life when he left his family behind.  He is housebroken, crate trained and good with dogs and cats.  Right now he is scared and wondering what just happened to his safe place that he has lived for the past 8 months.  He is being fully vetted and neutered 3/20 and ready for a fresh start, one he didn’t expect to be making.   This is a boy that will be small at just 25-30 pounds as a fully grown adult.  You will have one of a kind that will turn heads for sure.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com

This boy is in Tennessee but can transport to the northeastern region.

PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
