HI - I'M LUMI! My name means "snow" in Finland and I am the picture of wonderful white snow! I am a sweet 11-month-old White German Shepherd - only 42 lbs currently but growing - and I am ready to start my life with people whom I love! I get along great with dogs -- I had a kennel mate at the shelter (where I was rescued from) -- and I would do great with an active person or people who could take me me for walks, hikes and other outings. I currently need a foster or forever home. Please email for an application. We have reduced our adoption fees through April 15.

We have an extensive application and spend time with potential applicants to make sure we match people with the right dogs. We also have a 100% return policy as we understand sometimes adoptions just do not work out.

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. is an active 501(c)(3) animal rescue based in Ventura, Calif. We rescue dogs and cats primarily from overcrowded California shelters, and do our best to find wonderful homes for them. We also take in many owner surrenders every year. We adopt dogs to people in many states, and have a high success rate with our adoptions. We do our best to match people with the right dogs.
