My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI - I'M LUMI! My name means "snow" in Finland and I am the picture of wonderful white snow! I am a sweet boy - only 42 lbs currently but growing - and I am ready to start my life with people whom I love! I get along great with dogs -- I had a kennel mate at the shelter (where I was rescued from) -- and I would do great with an active person or people who could take me me for walks, hikes and other outings. I currently need a foster or forever home. Please email for an application. We have reduced our adoption fees during tax time.

More about this rescue

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization that saves hundreds of dogs and cats annually. We are an all-breed rescue, and do not shy away from tough cases. We believe all animals deserve a chance at a happy life, and we do our best to match people with their new pets. Every time a dog is adopted, it makes room for another needy dog, most often in an overcrowded shelter.

We adopt dogs/cats to people on the West Coast but also to other states as well, as we believe that animal lovers are everywhere! Please consider adopting one of our wonderful dogs or cats.
