Samson was trapped after running for at least eight weeks in the cold of December and January. He traveled over three different counties during that time and was often seen traveling the roads early in the morning and late at night. With the communities help, we were finally able to trap him in a backyard where he was regularly going over a 5 foot fence to seek food and shelter.
Sam is a big lovable one year-old who loves to play hard. He loves attention and seems to love meeting new people. A fenced yard is a requirement as he will be a flight risk until he is able to bond well with his new family. Also, having large breed experience is required.
Sam is in the foster home. He is completely house trained, sleeps in a kennel and has done well with the children in the family. He is a bit too interested in cats. He has done well with the family's dog which is also a large dog, but he does like to play rough and tumble.
Vet references are required and a home visit
