Aggie (short for Agnes) is an approximately 1-year-old American Pit mix looking for her forever family. She was left all alone on a busy Highway during freezing Texas weather in January but her foster mom came to her rescue. Aggie is enjoying her foster family, big and small dogs, plenty of play and nap time. She's busy learning about house manners, crate and leash training and a few basic commands (which she is doing fabulous). Aggie is a gentle girl, she doesn't jump up on anyone. She does well in a vehicle, in a crate or strapped in a seat. She loves long walks, soft warm beds, snacks of all kinds and snuggle time. Aggie is UTD on her vaccinations and has been spayed. She is Heartworm negative. If you're a family or a party of one, Aggie would make a great addition. She has not been around cats.

More about this rescue
We are a small rescue group based in Snyder, TX. All of our pets are kept in private homes by volunteer fosters in the Snyder, Sweetwater and Lubbock areas. Many of our dogs are transported to adopters out of state while most of our cats are adopted locally in the Lubbock area.
The rescue started in September of 2012 with rescuing one dog, and we quickly expanded our program. In our 10+ years we have rescued thousands of animals from west Texas streets and shelters.
We are always looking for new fosters, volunteers and can always use donations. For every dog or cat we can save there are 10X more that we can't. Please email us for information on fostering or volunteering!
