Meet Goldy – The Social Butterfly with a Heart of Gold!

Goldy may have RGF (resting grumpy face), but don’t let that fool you—this boy is all love, playfulness, and charm! With his golden-orange coat and endlessly affectionate personality, Goldy is as bright and warm as sunshine. Unlike his fairytale namesake, this Goldy is not picky—he’ll happily take all the love, pets, and treats you have to offer!

This chatty little guy loves to tell you all about his day and will happily keep up a conversation. He is incredibly social and needs to be in a home with other kitty friends, as he would be lonely and bored without a buddy. He adores sniffing, following, and playing with other cats, and even grumpy felines can’t ruffle his feathers! His happy-go-lucky nature and endless patience make him a great fit for a busy household, a home with kids, or a lively environment where there’s always something going on.

Goldy is also super affectionate—he’ll brush up against you for pets, happily be picked up and carried around, and he trusts just about everyone he meets. He’s a total cuddle bug, and for a big boy, he has the tiniest, most adorable meow! His foster mom will definitely miss how sweet and loving he is.

When he’s not soaking up attention, Goldy can be found entertaining himself with his favorite banana catnip toy, though he much prefers playtime with a human or kitty friend. And if there’s wet food around? Consider it gone—his superpower is making it disappear in seconds!

Sign Adoption Contract

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Pay Fee

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
