My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: 7/27/2016

Breed: Min Pin Mix

Personality: This is sweet senior gal who has found her way back to us after some health concerns. But after a vet check and some TLC, she’s ready to find her forever home!

Phoebe adores going on walks, soaking up all the pets, and—of course—treat time! She’s looking for a loving family that will give her the care and comfort she deserves in her golden years. If you’re searching for a gentle, affectionate companion, Phoebe might just be the perfect match.  She will likely need a special senior pup diet to keep her at her best health with some joint/urinary care supplements, but our vet thinks she has many more happy years to live.

Come meet this lovely lady and see if she’s the one for you!

More about this shelter

In 1978 a group of neighbors got together to provide foster homes and find families for the ever-increasing number of stray animals roaming the Tri-Lakes area. As the program grew, it became apparent that a shelter facility was necessary. After ten years of fund raising, the Tri-Lakes Humane Society opened in June, 1988!

We are a no-kill 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter for stray and abandoned animals while seeking to find them permanent homes. We receive no state or local funding and rely solely on public donations.
