My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Noodle is a spunky velcro pup who is high energy, loves to play, and loves to cuddle during her breaks from play time. Noodle was very polite when introducing herself to the other members of the pack at her foster home, including the goats and pig.
She plays really well with the rest of the dogs at her foster home and seems to pick up on boundaries well. She does not mind sharing her space with other dogs.
Noodle is currently working on potty training and accepting time away from her foster mom. But who can blame her for being so attached to her foster mom?? She was skinny and scared and all alone on the streets!
Noodle will be someone's best friend and she would prefer to have a family that is around home alot, maybe someone who works from home? She won't be like all the OTHER coworkers :) She will let you work in peace and quiet, as long as she is next to you napping :D

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
