This handsome 4-year-old, 50-pound Lab/Collie/Shepherd mix is as sweet and loving as they come. Benson Boone is the kind of dog who will “be there for you” no matter what—loyal, gentle, and always by your side. He loves following us around the rescue, then settling at our feet like he’s found his perfect place in the world.
He’s great with other dogs, completely ignores cats, and has a heart full of love to give. Benson Boone is ready to find his forever home, a place where he can finally say, “I’ve found peace in your arms” and never have to wonder where he belongs again.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.
ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.
Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. More about this rescue
We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.
Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.
