So here I am in a foster home with a wonderful foster family and they have alot to say about me :) All of it is true, so you must be a puppy lover (the good the bad and the ugly.. :) and you must harness my energy by teaching me things and exercising my brain as much as my body!
This is what my foster Dad has to say about me.......

"Midgy is quite a pup!! She is fearless, vocal to include grunting, barking, growling and all of the above. Ankle biter extraordinaire. She has personality for days and can go from sweetheart to mini raptor in seconds. She must be watched during feeding, she will eat her food , then the other dogs food, and the cats food and keep eating till she pops, literally! She was pretty sick when she came to us, parvo it was, but the monoclonal antibody cured her quickly!!
Midgy is adorable and a handful at the same time!!"

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
