I can be shy in new spaces and with new people. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.

I'm recommended with kids older than 10 and prefer to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.

If there are any dogs living in my new home, I prefer to meet them before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we're going to be good friends!

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington uses the following guidelines for adoptions:

1. Adopted animals will be spayed or neutered prior to their adoption.

2. Adopted animals will be placed as companion animals.

3. Adopted animals must be kept in accordance with all local laws and ordinances.

4. All animals leaving the shelter must be wearing identification and restrained by leash or carrier.
