Meet Violet, a sweet, mellow adult cat looking for her new home. She`s a bit shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she`ll be your best friend. Violet loves to communicate, her soft meows and purrs are a testament to her talkative nature. She`s a fan of head bumps, a feline sign of affection, and will often bump your hand when she wants some attention. Her soft black fur is a delight to stroke, and you`ll find yourself losing track of time while petting her. Violet is looking for a home where she can share her love and sweetness. She may do well with other cats in her new home with a slow introduction. If you`re in search of a mellow, affectionate companion, Violet could be the perfect fit for you.

Their adoption process

Interview

Call and tell us what animal you're interested in and we discuss all aspects of the pet. If it's not a match, we can help you find one

2.
Submit Application

We will set up an appointment time for you to meet the pet and collect a Companion Request Form from you.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

At your appointment we will give you an opportunity to meet the pet and make a final decision. If all goes well, you will take the pet home.

The mission of the Placer Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Placer SPCA) is to enhance the lives of companion animals and support the human-animal bond.

We offer programs for the pets and people of Placer County, including adoptions, lost and found, low-cost spay and neuter assistance, humane education programs, emergency financial assistance for pet owners, free behavior advice, and low-cost microchips and rabies vaccines.
