Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I took in the 8 year old Ms. Boots from a friend's family, who was unable to give her the care and attention that she needed. I've had her for about 6 months, trying to socialize and calm her, but she's deeply traumatized from her prior living conditions, and I still can't get her to even sniff offered treats or toys. She got along with one very laid back male cat from her prior home, but not the other cats. She will mark territory around other females. She needs someone who understands how to help extremely anxious cats. She was not handled in her prior home, but I did manage to give her some light head scratches. I believe that Ms. Boots needs a calm home, with either one very calm, older male cat, or by herself. Feliway products did seem to help her a bit, but it was not enough to help her. She's extremely timid, but I suspect there is an incredibly sweet girl under all that fear, and she just needs a patient owner to get her to break out of her anxiety.
