My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CROW is a beautiful young female cat with all-black fur which is soft and pettable. She is sweet by nature and loves attention and affection. Once Crow meets you, she is quick to become your friend. Her hobbies include: finding cozy nooks to nap in, making biscuits, cuddling on the couch, following her humans around the house, playing with furry toys, chasing that unattainable red dot, distracting you while you work from home, and purring in your ear when hugged. She can be very chill and relax with you on the couch but also loves to play if you bring out a furry toy to chase. Crow would do best in a home as the only cat so she can soak up all the love and attention and not have to share with another feline. She can acclimate to a friendly dog. Crow was brought to our rescue after a Good Samaritan found her injured and surrendered her to the veterinary hospital. Now she’s healthy and happy and ready for a loving forever home. Could it be with you?

CROW has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Crow in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. It is available on our website: https://catrescues.org/forms/cat-adoption-contract/ A paper copy is available at our adoption sites. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, have been de-wormed, treated with flea medication at intake, spayed or neutered, and have been microchipped and tested for felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette, at Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd and the Eugene-Springfield Cat Lounge. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
